On the morning of May 30th, Academy of Integrated Circuit Innovation Jiangyin Center project signing and the establishment ceremony was held in Jiangyin Municipal Government. The institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ director Ye Tianchun, the Industrialization Promotion Center of the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ director Shang Liwei, Jiangyin municipal government’s leaders Wang Jinjian, Cai Yeming, Chen Xinghua, Shao Wensong, Zhao Qian, Zhang Shaofeng, Xinchao Group’s chairman Wang Xinchao attended the activity.

The institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ director Ye Tianchun and the Industrialization Promotion Center of the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ director Shang Liwei in their speech said: Academy of Integrated Circuit Innovation Jiangyin Center was established by Jiangyin Municipal Government, Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, JOIND Administrative Committee and Xinchao Group, it only costs 2 months time from the beginning of the project design to sign and launch ceremony, and it was done during the novel coronavirus outbreak time. It fully reflects “Jiangyin speed”, “Jiangyin spirit” and “Jiangyin efficiency”. At present, the development of national integrated circuit blooms into products as the center, industry solution as the breakthrough. Academy of Integrated Circuit Innovation cooperates with Jiangyin government and Xinchao Group will promote the development of Jiangyin integrated circuit technology innovation and industry, and jointly create Jiangyin as the center, to Yangtze river delta, to affect the country’s industry ecosystem.
Academy of Integrated Circuit Innovation Jiangyin Center launch ceremony was held in Xinchao Group, and the attending leaders visited the new office area and exhibition hall of the center. The Industrialization Promotion Center of the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ director Shang Liwei introduced the relevant situation of the center. The center entered Jiangyin depends on the high technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the advantage resources in the integrated circuit testing and packaging field of Jiangyin. Bringing in more national and international advantage integrated circuit projects and companies, to occupy the commanding heights of Moore era, create Chinese fundamental and prospective design core base in this field, and become the word-class integrated circuit innovation center. Academy of Integrated Circuit Innovation Jiangyin Center was planned as the experience of the innovation research institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It has three modules, including Jiangyin integrated circuit innovation center, Jiangyin integrated circuit innovation industry and Jiangyin integrated circuit venture investment fund. The center plans to outreach 100 excellent scientific researchers; apply for at least 100 patents, software copyrights and integrated circuit layouts; invest on at least 50 young companies; realize more than 2 billion income of the company in the center and the tax more than 100 million.
